And we're back with a shiny new and improved Villa here on the Costa Brava after some pretty major upgrades. We're always tinkering over the winter months, but we now have a brand new main house bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a refurbished Sauna with new heater and LED lighting.
We have also re-wired the upper house and installed new ceiling fans in the twin room and en-suite room.
On the kitchen terrace, we have removed the old BBQ area and raised planters and built a huge charcoal BBQ from Uruguay. The terrace has been extended to fit the new table that seats 10 and new solar powered lampoon lights to complement our existing fairy lights.
The old steps to the pool have been replaced with a new tiled path which is easier to keep clean and some solar powered foot lighting so that you can see your way at night.
And, last but not least, our latest works on the pool terrace. There were one or two cracks appearing due to subsidence, so we replaced the concrete, underpinned the terrace and replaced the tiles. We also removed a raised planter and installed new water pipes to two new taps, one with a solar powered shower and a new shaded seating area with a seat Hamaca from our supplier in Barcelona. We hope that you like our improvements to the Villa. Your family holiday memories and enjoyment of Cal Domino is very important to us and we strive to improve the Villa each year. Next year, we hope to landscape the land below the pool with fruit trees and terraces.
